It might be a few days before I can post something more substantial than this. The semester just started and I am trying to readjust while discovering how busy I will actually be. I do have a request, however. I wonder if someone out there might know of any academic work, journal articles, etc., concerning the Prittlewell Prince. I have yet to find anything and I want to use the case in my thesis. If you run across something, please let me know. I want to thank everyone who has commented on, wished well, or even just visited the site. You have made me feel welcome, indeed. Back in a jiff!

The only things I know of beyond the initial notifications etc is the Museum of London booklet, titled The Prittlewell Prince, available from their bookshop and I think Amazon has it or had it. You might also look for these, though I think they are all just brief notices.

So, basically, aside from the British Museum publication, which I have already purchased, we mainly have a variety of “announcement” type mentions. The Blackmore looks promising and recent, if I can find it. Other than that, I guess the discovery is too recent to have garnered any more in-depth scholarship. Thank you both for your assistance. Just to put it into perspective, I’ve just been reading here in 2009 books published in 2007 that report and study on finds in 1989-91. I hope it won’t be 15 years before a major book on Prittlewell, but one never knows.
